Privacy policy

This is the short version: we collect the minimum we need to ship your order and email you about it. We don't sell your data. We're a nurse-owned small operation, not a data broker.

What we collect

- Name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone (for shipping notifications)

- Order history and what's in your cart

- IP address, browser type, device info (standard analytics)

- Whatever you tell us in customer support emails

We collect this through the standard Shopify checkout flow and Shopify's built-in analytics. We don't ask for your social security number, date of birth, or anything else we don't need.

Why we collect it

- To process and ship your order

- To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and customer support replies

- To send marketing emails (only if you opted in — you can unsubscribe anytime)

- To improve the store (which products are popular, which pages people leave from)

Who we share it with

- Shopify (our store platform)

- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS) — to get you your stuff

- Email provider (Klaviyo or Shopify Email) — for transactional and marketing email

- Payment processors (Shopify Payments / Stripe) — for charge processing

- Nobody else. We don't sell, rent, or trade customer data to third parties for their marketing.

Your rights

You can email hello@crashcartclub.com any time to:

- See what data we have on you

- Correct anything that's wrong

- Delete your data (with the exception of legally-required order records, which we keep for 7 years per IRS requirements)

If you're in California, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of any "sale" of your data. We don't sell data, so this is mostly moot, but the right exists.

If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We don't actively market in the EU but we'll honor any request that comes in.

We use cookies for cart functionality (without them, you can't check out) and basic analytics. You can disable them in your browser but the site will break for shopping.

Children

We don't market to anyone under 18 and don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If we update this policy materially, we'll email anyone with an account and post a notice on the storefront.
